This 263-acre site borders the estuary where the Terrell River meets Moriches Bay creating a nursery for game fish and crustaceans.  We will follow a loop path along the river and to the bay and back. We may spot some birds and wildlife. Narrow sandy beach. Scenic views. Address: 43 Montauk Hwy, Center Moriches, NY.  Directions: From L.I.E. Exit 68 or NY 27 Exit 58S, take William Floyd Parkway south to Montauk Hwy. (C.R. 80); turn left, and keep right to stay on Montauk Hwy for 5 miles to Terrell River Park; small unpaved parking lot on right. Meet in parking area. If no parking spots, park across the street at Kalers Pond Town Park. Restrooms may not be open. Bring water. Rain cancels.
